Although we are committed to musical excellence, Empire City Men’s Chorus is more than just a distinguished ensemble. We are a collection of musicians and friends, who bring together all walks of the people with differing ages, genders, races and sexual orientation. Whether in our membership or through our audiences, we aim to embody the values of acceptance and inclusivity. We do this through a shared love of music and the power of our voices to touch the hearts of those who hear. Our mission is to bring beauty and harmony to a world in desperate need of both. 

You can be a part of this. At ECMC, we sing to share our love of music with as many people as possible; not for fame, or riches, but to spread our message one listener at a time. This is done through the generous support of individuals and potential sponsors like yourself. Though we are a non-profit, ECMC believes in giving back. So in addition to our operating overhead, we pay salaries to our artistic and administrative staff, we support the local musical community by hiring top-level musicians and guest artists, and we commission new works from up and coming contemporary composers. Even outside the arts, ECMC donates its time and resources back to the LGBTQ community by volunteering with Heritage of Pride, as well as other community outreach initiatives such as Cooper Square Committee, Inc., God’s Love We Deliver, SAGE, and the Ali Forney Center.
